About Me

Lesley coaches leaders as ‘whole people’ – dealing with their challenges and resilience across work and professional lives, and the link that has to impact in their wider life. She is a highly experienced facilitator and coach, with 25 years working as a senior leader and in support of senior leaders. Clients appreciate Lesley’s flexibility, insights and understanding, and her compassion. Lesley started as an academic (with a PhD from Glasgow University), before moving into the NHS in Scotland as a General Manager, and finally as Hospital Manager for a large District General Hospital. She moved into People consultancy and led a UK team providing leadership and organisational development support across the public sector. Lesley takes a person led approach to her coaching practice – creating a safe opportunity for dialogue, focussed on helping clients to make a difference through their leadership of situations for now and into the future.

Her coaching style is empathic, pragmatic, non-judgemental, insightful, thought-provoking, and authentic – based on a connection of equals. Lesley has several research-based models and tools she can use to support clients, including Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence, McClelland’s Motives and Values, Snowdon & Boones Framework for Decision Making.
